Today, ladies and gentlemen, Red Light Recordings take us on a journey through the history of Thanksgiving.
Though most of us will be celebrating the occasion in a low key setting with immediate family, Haaris, Sam, and Brady have recovered some recordings from several rather special thanksgiving communions:
- A lost tape from the very first thanksgiving in 1621 was recovered and restored to show us the origins of the wonderful holiday, showing the communal aspect of a holiday we cannot fully partake in this year
- Later, we are transported to an instance that occurred last week in a hospital room in Chicago on Thanksgiving night between three men unlikely to cross paths
- And finally the episode will detail a story shared by former President of the United States, George W. Bush, on his experience this last thanksgiving where he shared a table with the Ghost of the Living Bob Dylan and God Himself.
The stories here may seem strange and absurd, but remember that thanksgiving can be between anyone, and the spirit of thanks and giving are exclusive to no one.
