NASHVILLE- The Beaches opened for Louis Tomlinson at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tenn. on June 29, part of his “How Did We Get Here?” world tour. U.K. band Picture Parlour played first, working through songs from their debut record The Parlour. By the time The Beaches came on, most of the room already knew the words.
Jordan Miller (lead vocals, bass), Kylie Miller (guitar), Leandra Earl (guitar, keys) and Eliza Enman-McDaniel (drums) ripped through a set stacked with hooks, anchored by “Blame Brett,” the song that blew this band wide open. The track is off their 2023 album Blame My Ex, a record that shot to number one on the Canadian rock charts and gave them their first real foothold on the U.S. charts. The band has put out newer music since then. No Hard Feelings, their third album, was released in 2025, with some of their most personal songs yet, tackling heartbreak, coming out and growing up.. A deluxe edition landed in June 2026 with a few extra tracks, including a reworked take on “Lesbian of the Year.”
Elton John has been a fan of The Beaches for a while now. Back in 2018, he played their song “T-Shirt” to open his Apple Music show, “Rocket Hour,” and he’s praised them ever since.
They’ve also opened for the Foo Fighters in 2018 at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, and the Rolling Stones in 2019 at Canada Rocks festival. Both shows get mentioned when people ask the band about their career. It’s a long way from those opening slots to where they are now, playing arenas with Tomlinson and still building their own following show by show.
