Native of San Francisco, Nick Tyrrel is a country singer who writes songs in Nashville. Currently, he is working on his untitled debut EP with Grammy nominated songwriter and producer Clay Mills, and multi-platinum producer and songwriter Mike Krompass.
He is inspired by artists such as U2, Matchbox 20, and Jake Owen.
In the past, Clay had worked with artists such as Lady Antebellum, Reba McEntire, and Darius Rucker. Mike Krompass has collaborated with the likes of Meghan Trainor, Aly and AJ, Smash Mouth, and Cassidee Pope.
This past October, I was able to meet with Nick Tyrrel to discuss his latest single “Hollywood Apartment”, which was released on September 25th, 2020.
In this interview, listeners got to know Nick as an artist, what inspired him to go down this path, and what kinds of goals he has moving forward.
Nick Tyrrel also talked about his unique opportunities opening for REO Speedwagon and Smash Mouth, invaluable experiences that he has treasured.
As a musician, Nick’s main goal is for his “music to be heard by the world” and to help heal others through his music (13:32).
