Sad Girl Hour is an hour of showcasing and commentating on sad girl music. Finding new artists to showcase, as well as the classic sad girls of today like Olivia Rodrigo, Boygenius, Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, Gracie Abrams, Lorde, ect (though we are not limited to only female artists). We will discuss the genre and the culture surrounding it while also talking about our own lives and other general nonsense and funny business. Hi, my name is Julie and I’m a freshman at DePaul studying secondary art education! I’m from Glenview, Illinois, which is 30 minutes outside of Chicago, so I’m super excited to be living in the city. I love Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, Disney Channel Original movies (similar to my co-host), Vampire Diaries, and obviously music. Currently I’m loving SZA, Bruno Mars, Olivia Rodrigo, The Driver Era, and Taylor Swift. So excited to cry with you guys on air!

I’m Charlotte, I’m a comedy arts major, and I am also super pretty. I am from both California and Nebraska (crazy combination), and I love sad music (obviously), camping out for concerts, Gilmore Girls, trashy pop culture trivia, and disney channel original movies (like my co-host, who is also really pretty by the way). Some of my favorite artists are Alix Page, boygenius, Gracie Abrams, Olivia Rodrigo, anything Aaron Dessner works on, and obviously Taylor Swift.
