Respect the Record is an hour dedicated to showcasing the ever-changing genre of indie rock! Every day, there seems to be an emergence of groups and individuals creating music that falls within this genre. This show explores the sounds of indie rock artists, both established and upcoming, as well as bands local to the Chicago area.

Abby Thompson
Hey I’m Abby, lover of live music, pop culture, boybands, palm trees, jazz, warm weather, and sappy movies. I am a junior majoring in communication and media, and double minoring in music business and media and cinema studies (a mouthful, I know). I am originally from Southern California and my birthday is on April Fools’ Day (hence the name)! I also listen to too much music for my own good, so I can’t wait to share it with you all every week!
