About
“I was just a girl, interrupted,” claimed Winona Ryder as she portrayed Susanna Kaysen onscreen, who was very much a real person who endured and openly wrote about some of the most horrible experiences anyone, especially a woman could ever have to go through. Here at Girl, Uninterrupted, we won’t silence your voices either. This is THE place for your confessions scribbled and locked away in your middle and high school diaries, to share your dreams and yearnings, to uplift one another, to share experiences both good and bad, to connect with others, listen to poetry/prose, discuss books/films/shows/art pieces in general that capture the feminine experience, and so much more. And, to go along with it all, some of the most grittiest and vulnerable musicians of the feminine/gender non conforming identities will serve as soundtracks for these ramblings, as well as the occasional song from those outside of those identities that still accompany quite well. Tune in to hear me say “I’m just a girl” probably at least once an episode.
