About

Deathropology is a podcast airing on Radio DePaul where co-hosts Jeffrey Cronin and Misha Mikami talk all about death. Various topics will be discussed including how we grieve, the funeral industry, cultural interpretations of death, and much more. The aim of the co-hosts is to get rid of the taboo of discussing death and instead normalize it so the process of grieving and facing our own mortality is easier. Tune in every Friday at 4:00pm CST.

Hello, my name is Misha (she/her), and I am the podcast director for the 2022-2023 school year! In addition to the podcast, I also host Deathropology with my friend Jeffrey every Friday at 4:00pm. I am a senior anthropology major with minors in business administration and bioethics. I enjoy having conversations around how the world handles death throughout different cultures and time periods, and look forward to sharing my interests with everyone willing to listen.

Hello, my name is Jeffrey Cronin (he/him), and I am a second-year graduate student in DePaul's applied diplomacy program. My hobbies include playing visuals, reading fanfiction, playing games with friends, and listening to music. As someone who loves to travel, I thought hosting a show about seeing the sights in the city was a perfect fit for me, and I hope you enjoy my show as much as I love taking to you all each week.
